First Branch Bonsai - Lakewood, Co

First Branch Bonsai is a new and premier Bonsai hub for education, collaboration, and bonsai in Denver, Colorado. This facility is a dream of Todd and his wife Bridget. Their vision is to have a world-class bonsai garden and facility for higher learning. Purchased and opened in May of 2022, there is a lot of work to build Todd and Bridget’s vision is for a special place that reflects the Rocky Mountains.

Classes

Classes are hosted in the large workshop at First Branch Bonsai in the Denver, Colorado area, and students have the opportunity to work with some of the best material in the US. Students are also welcome to bring their own trees as courses are not species-specific. Repotting classes are 3 to 4 days, and design classes are 4 days instead of 3.
